WCA Thomas G. Scullen Memorial Scholarship

During the 2007-08 school year, the WCA Advisory Board established the WCA Thomas G. Scullen Memorial Scholarship in name of Appleton Area School District’s former superintendent.

The first scholarship was awarded during the 2011-12 school year.  A description of the scholarship is below.

Amount of Award
Varies ($650 was awarded in 2019).

Who May Apply
High school seniors who attended Wisconsin Connections Academy for a minimum of their junior and senior years and will attend an accredited post-secondary school.

Basis for Selection
Students who demonstrate a strong desire to learn and succeed and who are planning to continue with their education. GPA, in itself, will not be a deciding factor for selection.

How to Apply
Fill out an application and return it by April 1 of your student’s senior year to WCA.
