Lynch
I teach 7th and 8th Grade Social studies, and World History.  This is my 9th year of teaching. What I enjoy most about online learning is that students have access to challenging curriculum in a supportive learning environment. Besides teaching, I enjoy nature, reading, baking, movies, and running. I graduated from UW Madison with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Lawrence University. Finally, I am a proud mother of a kindergarten student and a two year old.

Mrs. JohnstonThis is my third year teaching at Wisconsin Connections Academy.  Before coming to WCA, I taught language arts in a traditional middle school as well as several courses at different colleges around the country. We have lived in several states, but in 2015 moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to family. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of WI @ Oshkosh and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Catherine University Minneapolis / St. Paul.  This is my 17th year of teaching!  In my free time I enjoy running, reading, going to the lake, and spending time with my husband of 16 years.  We have been blessed with three kids ages 8 (boy-2nd) ,10 (boy-5th), and 12 (girl-7th).  I can’t wait to meet you, it's going to be a great school year!

DodenHi, my name is Mr. Doden.  I teach middle and high school math at WCA.  This is my 7th year at WCA and I couldn’t ask for a better place to teach.  I absolutely enjoy working with our students, learning coaches and staff.  I live in Appleton with my wife and two daughters.  My oldest daughter is Lola and she is six years old.  She will be starting 1st grade this year.  My younger daughter is Ana. Some things you should probably know about me are the following: spending time with family is a huge part of my life, I’m a sports fanatic and I officiate football.  I’m also a huge Wisconsin Badger fan.  I went to UW-Madison for college back in 2000 to 2004.  I want everyone to know you can contact me anytime during the school day if you have a question or a concern.  I am always willing to help in order to make WCA the best experience possible for each family.

Mr. MacDonald
Mr. MacDonald is one of our Middle School Math teachers at WCA.  He enjoys making math exciting through games and fun classes.  A highlight of the year for Mr. MacDonald is seeing all of the students at state testing.  Mr. MacDonald has 4 children, including Aliyah who is a 2nd grade student here at WCA.  When not teaching Mr. MacDonald enjoys playing sports with his kids and challenging students in video games (he often loses).
