The Open Enrollment Alternative Application is now available.

For more information on alternative procedures for applying for open enrollment visit the Department of Public Instruction website. If you meet one of the exceptions outlined by the Department of Public Instruction policy, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Complete an Open Enrollment Alternative Application. The application needs to be faxed to 920-832-6284 or emailed to wisconsin-connections-academy@aasd.k12.wi.us.*

Step 2: Review of Open Enrollment Alternative Applications can take up to 20 days. Families will receive a letter in the mail indicating if their application is approved or denied. Additional steps will be required for students who are approved.

* WCA enrolls high school students at the beginning of each semester. Alternate applications for first semester must be received by August 1 and second semester by November 18.

WCA may enroll students in grades K-8 who did not apply during the standard open enrollment period, using the alternate application process other times during first semester.  All applications must be received by November 18 as WCA does not enroll any new students after second semester begins.
